Research
It’s human nature to explore the worlds outside our own, and to venture out into the unknown.
Through our extensive research projects, we’ve helped scientists and experts observe and uncover the mysteries of the Universe.
This endeavor has been made official with the two observatory codes we received from the International Astronomical Union’s Minor Planet Center (M43) and the American Association of Variable Star Observers or AAVSO (OAAA) in 2019.
We participate in international observatories’ research activities and we’ve also been involved with university research such as with the Center for Astro, Particle, and Planetary Physics at the New York University – Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and international astronomical organizations such as the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO).
Here you’ll find all the observations we’ve done since we opened in 2016, from sunspots to elusive space rocks and binary systems.
Published Observations
A little bit Published Observations
Our location away from the city lights of Abu Dhabi has enabled us to collect data on a variety of deep-sky targets.
Here are some of the observations we’ve conducted over the years–from working on our own research projects, to extending our services to the New York University-Abu Dhabi and AAVSO and some observatories in other parts of the world.
